Custom Order Acorn Man & Candy Corns

Hi Friends I hope you are all having a wonderful Summer! I wanted to share this Acorn Man and his peeps with you. He is a custom order for a wonderful collector and valued customer. I have made several Acorns but I think he is my favorite so far.
You see for one night only on All Hallows Eve acorns can become enchanted and grow to giant proportions. They roam the land looking for Candy. They enjoy playing tricks on their fellow non-enchanted acorn brothers!
I also wanted to share a couple of Candy Corn Ornaments. They are on ebay if you like to take a peek.
Wishing you all a wonderful and creative week everyone!

I've been told I'm nuts warning this post is out of order

Now the spooky. I am working on a tree he has a pumpkin on his head and will be holding a jol bucket. The Witch, well I am not sure where she's headed. The pumpkin balloon ornament is a new design and he will have some friends soon.

Now moving on to the nuts, acorn nuts that is. Their caps are real and they are really silly. I have special plans for them so stay tuned!

Hi everyone and Happy Sunday! I am currently caught between two holidays. Easter and Halloween. I am not making too many Springy things, but here is a few I have in the works. I have a couple egg head clothes pins, a shamrock and a little blue capped mushroom ornament. The other fellow is a reverse psychology egg man. More about him later.

Halloween Mini's & More Fall Fun

These are the Ghost ornaments which will hang on the Spooky Tree I'm trying to finish. The black cat will still on top of the tree. The acorn gives you an idea of the size.
The Spooky box is from Hallmark and was an early Halloween gift. I love it! It says 4
creepy sayings and my kids are spooked by it.
I keep my Winifred Witch inside which I was thrilled to win on ebay. I got her for $5.70 including shipping. Bringing back a childhood memory priceless!
The baby boo pumpkin I had to pick something ate the other one. I have mums blooming and yes that maple leaf was on the ground!

Another JOL box and Acorns for magic

This set is now in my Etsy Shop. The acorns caps are real.
I found some interesting folklore on the acorns. They were used as a divination tool on Halloween night. Lovers would take 2 acorns and each would place 1 in the same bowl of water. If they floated together they would marry. If they floated apart they would not and if they sunk death! Mine are not ment for this game but I thought the folklore was fun!
