Weather here has been brutal many snow days with no school!
I have managed to get these two snowman ornaments finished.
They are vintage inspired and are in my Etsy shop if you'd like a closer look.
Stay warm friends!

Primitive Somewhat Creepy Snowmen Art Dolls made with found parts
These fellows made with hand soap bottles, newspaper, paper mache vintage buttons, metal screws and twig noses.
They are slightly creepy but I think have a charm to them!
Wishing you all a warm and safe Winter!
Lots of changes in my life more about that later.

Some Tinsel Tree Ornaments
I had a lot of left over chenille and tinsel pipecleaners. I used to use them in my clothespin and other ornaments. So I whipped up these little fellows. Their heads are paper clay. I like the Bigfoot the best. I have yet to make some Yeti's. My foot is taking longer than I thought to heal. I can't get it into shoes so yep I am a leave the house in slippers person!

Snow and Snow and Snowmen
Well we have had snow a couple times. I hasn't stuck but it does help to get me in the Holiday mode. I think I will take a short break from snowmen. I think some mushrooms and elves are in order. All of these fellows above are in my etsy shop. I also listed a couple more glittered pinecone snowmen. Back to painting and glittering for me! Have a great week everyone!

Glittered Pincone Snowmen Ornaments
I love the vintage pinecone snowmen, santas and elves. You know the ones made in Japan. Here is my modern take on those. These are more glittered than my clothes pin ornaments. Glitter can be addicting around this time of year! To see more of them click here to be transported.

Rolling out the Snowmen Ornaments
| These guys are vintage inspired. |
| Yep those are pine cones sticking out of their heads! So I am rolling out a lot of snowmen ornaments. I always tell myself to start these in the summer but I never do! So the paint and glitter are flying! If you would like to see more of these fellows they are in my etsy shop. Wishing everyone a wonderful and creative day! |

Holiday Inspiration

I was in need of some holiday inspiration. My mother is a teacher so her basement is the perfect place to look for holiday treasures. I didn't have to look to long to find these die-cuts. The set of snowmen are Hallmark 70's or 80's I'm not sure. I have no idea about the others. I know people use Halloween die-cuts still I'm not so sure about Christmas unless you're having a party.
The holly on the snowgirl's hat is the inspiration for an ornament I'm going to make. It will be a holly leaf with a happy face.
So how do you get in this holiday mood? Whatever the holiday you choose to celebrate this season?
