A Bumper Crop

Type: Howden's Field
Types: Blue Australian/Jarrahdale and Butternut
Type: Scallop/Patty Pans
Types: Orange Mammoth and White Lumina
We had a wonderful time at the Pumpkin Farm! Each of my sons picked their own pumpkin. Although Michigan had a bad drought this year one crop loved it! We asked the farmer and he said they watered directly from their river and it shows! After we got our pumpkins we went to our favorite family run Cider and Donut place. They didn't have  a lot of apples or cider this year. It was not a good year for apples. It was a fine year for yummy donuts though. I guess it's always a good year for those!

Well there were plenty of apples, cider, pumpkins and donuts up in the New England region this Fall...thank goodness! I consumed my fair share too! I love to visit places like that, you're so lucky to have them nearby! Great photos!
