Night Glow

Just thought I share some photos of our Halloween lights. Since we don't get Trick or Treaters way back here in the woods I just put some lights up on our deck. I was wondering if any of you put up lights for Halloween? If we lived in a neighborhood I'd go all out.

Nice! The great thing about living way back in the woods is that your lights don't have to compete with street lights. I put lights on my veranda. I'll likely post photos next week.

Oh boy do we put lights. We even put lights on our Golf cart! :o)

Those are really cute!

Those lights are so cool. We don't do Halloween lights, as there aren't any younger children in the neighborhood. In fact, people think our street is just a driveway. :( I'm always sad each year, when no children come up to the door for candy. Theresa

I admit that I use lighting to create mood, so I sometimes use the black light strip or a strobe on slow speed for lightning flashes. I put up a lot of props so when the lightning flashes, you see them for a glimmering second and it's much scarier. If I were in the country, though, I'd probably do string lights for more impact.

What a neat view! Your deck looks so friendly and lively.
My Hubby's philosophy about Holiday decorations is, "We put them up for us. Aren't our neighbors (if we have any) lucky that we like to go all out?" I tend to agree. But sometimes I would like to do something simple.....

I put up lights! We don't get very many T-or-Ters, but I do it anyway (well, actually the hub does it - haha!). Makes it more festive! Your deck looks beautiful. xox!

We live back out of the way too, so we don't get trick or treaters either, but I put up a few lights around the porch and put a few decorations up outside and go all out inside!
