After the Rain

The first shot is some sort of cobweb. I love how it caught the water droplets! You have to really watch out this time of year when you're out in the backyard. Hickory nuts are falling! The poor bumble bee looks tired he's been a busy bee. Finally this is the first year that I've had luck training the Grandpa Ottis Morning Glories to grow up the post of my front porch. I'm thrilled that it worked this year!

Ooh, the cobweb is very cool. I was wondering what those were in your hand...hickory nuts huh? Not sure I've seen those before. I'm assuming they came from a Hickory Tree? Can you use them for anything? Our garden is making me mad this year...our pumpkins keep popping out babies then after a week or so they shrivel up and die. We can't figure out what is wrong. :o(

Oh Chris lol just the webs I didn't see the spiders!
Wendy I looked up the nuts they can be eaten but they are bitter and hard to crack. Chimpmunks are loving them. Sorry about your pumpkins. All I know is we've had loads of rain and they love water.

The cobweb is so cool! I think spiders really get busy at night, the clothes line is usually full of webs in the morning. Your Morning Glories look gorgeous crawling up your post!

(((HUGS)))
