Bleeding Hearts

These are one of my very favorite flowers. I don't see them here until late April and May. It's nice to dream of Spring when we are in the Big Chill! Give me 30 degrees and you'll see me smiling again.

Becca, they are one of my favorites too!! My Mom use to get so mad at us kids because we would pick all of the blooms off to look at the naked lady in the bath tub, lol.

I thought you had made more hearts already! lol

I have some in my garden, and this past Summer, it was so cool, they lasted well into August, and didn't die back until Fall!

They are such a delicate flower, and a native to Michigan!

I love these as well; they are so perfectly and uniquely shaped. I planted some for the first time last year and can't wait to see them again. But I think it's going to be a while yet :)
