Moon and Mermaid on Monday

The Mermaid Chair my husband made and I love her. I love the richness of the walnut wood she's made of. She will soon be on her way to a happy home in Arizona. I'm not sure how the economy is affecting any one's art sales. I can tell you how very happy and grateful I am for those wonderful people who are still supporting the Arts! :)
I took the moon shot from my kitchen window. I just love the way she was peaking through the trees. Have a wonderful and magical monday everyone.

Wow....that is stunning! The form is simply divine and how very creative. You two must be two peas in one creative lil' pod! Thanks for sharing that...it so unique! Happy Monday! :o)

Thanks I'll tell the hubby you like them. I used to paint chairs for him it looks like I'll be doing that again. Maybe a fish bench I'll post a pic. of it when it's done. We are both creative not in the same pod though. He gets the big art studio in the woods. I get the kitchen. I hope to get a studio in the basement. I'm not complaining I just have to be where the kids are. :)

Wow! He's so very talented! That chair so amazingly cool. I wish they made cameras that could capture cool moons better. That picture of the moon came out good! The last time we had a really cool full harvest moon last fall, I took a picture thinking the moon was great big and orange and it came out as a tiny white dot. Wah! (crying like a baby). I love the moon, perhaps it's best if we just recall it rather than try to capture something so elusive.

The chair is gorgeous and so unique! You will have your basement one day and it will be sooner than you think. All of a sudden your children will be grown and doing their own thing. Last night the moon was awesome, I sat outside for a little while with my tea in awe.

The chair is gorgeous. And I know what you mean, my husband has TWO rooms (how did this happen????): one is a little office (he does work there, so I guess I can't count that), and one is this cool workshop in the basement (that I count!).

I think I am going to revolt and take over a room! Maybe I'll put caution tape over the living room and declare it MINE (we don't use it anyway!).

Thanks all! Autumn it's so hard to capture the Moon! Think it requires a better camera and a steadier hand than I have. I was shaking trying to take this shot. Pam I think you should be able to have your own space too! I think I could be more productive if I had more room to spread out. I forget what I have sometimes. Dede they are growing up fast and this fall I'll have one kid only for about 3 hours. Who knows what I can get done then!:) Can't wait till school starts!
