Fireworks in the Garden!

Happy 4th of July! Here's what's blooming in my garden. I've got black eyed susans, butter and eggs, bell flowers and lilies. Have a wonderful 4th and the rest of the weekend!

A Painting, A Lake and some Witches

My son painted these flowers and I love them! Now framed and hanging in my kitchen. He is more into the drawing than painting but I'd like to fill the rest of my kitchen with these kind of blooms!
Went to the lake with the boys and a few friends this weekend. I have never been this early in the season and it was beautiful. Getting a tan in one day priceless!
I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday weekend too!

What's in Bloom!

I know it's still Spring but it sure feels like summer here. Wishing everyone a fun and safe holiday weekend! I got my self tanner so I won't scare anyone at the lake.

Jacob's Ladder

This is a variegated form of Jacob's Ladder. A woodland plant that grows in shade to part shade. After a ton of rain it's finally sunny here. I'm planning on dividing and planting all weekend. Wishing you a wonderful weekend too!

Flower Power

Just what's blooming. The picture of the blacked Susan's is my the front of my home. The other side has mint which is in bloom. The bees love it. I was told if you plant mint in your yard it helps bring wealth. Well I have a lot of it as it is very invasive and spreads. I should be winning that lotto any day now! :) The lanterns are blooming and are a wonderful orange! I was happy to see the chipmunks did not eat all the lilies! Have a wonderful Monday everyone!
