Oh my gosh--are you sure your husband isn't my character in my horror novel I'm writing? The hero is a woodworker who makes furnishings with lots of beautiful carvings and he says "the wood tells me what it wants to become." Your hubby has an amazing talent. It really should be in a museum!

Thanks so much everyone I'm his biggest fan!

No I didn't know that Autumn but I will preorder a signed copy! Sounds fasinating! :)

We are trying to get him into a museum. Anyone have any connections? He's self taught which I think makes him more interesting.

WOW, Becca - he is one talented dude. :) I took woodworking classes years ago and I know what it takes to make something look this...fluid. Kudos to him - and of course you are his muse! :) xo Pam

Wow! What a gorgeous chair! Totally enchanting!! With such talented parents, your kids must be bursting at the seams with creative genes! :-)

Now, do you get to keep and enjoy his creations, or are they swiftly purchased and out the door? I know that part of his success would be to sell them, but I can see where it would be so hard to let them go.

You should be able to keep one, at least until he gets the next one made! :-)

I wasn't sure you meant that your husband really made this chair until I read these other comments.
And, Wow! I am impressed. He is a true artisan...magikal in fact!

Thanks everyone. I'd love to keep them we do have a few. Yep he sells them it's been a tad rough due to the economy. We are very hopeful. :)

My holiday gift to blogs I follow is to tell them what I love about their blogs.

Yours is just fantastically beautiful and especially because the woman behind it. You're very sweet, very perky, very enthusiastic about all you do. I hope you keep doing this blog forever. It is a great escape.
