These are not Chestnuts

This is not an open fire but a fake fireplace. It's my new place for drying paper mache and paint. It works great and it warms half the house. I'm working on: reindeer, snowflakes, candy canes, jack frost, gingers, snowmen, holly. I thought I'd share now back to work. I could use some elves! Have a great Friday everyone!

Wow! You HAVE been busy! And they are all so cute!

We were looking at fireplaces the other night. Besides adding the extra heat, they create a very relaxing mood too.

I hadn't thought of the added bonus of drying clay sculptures, thought! Maybe I can use that on my hubs as a selling point, don'tcha think? lol

Congrats on being a featured artist again! Your work is getting quite the notice, and it is well earned!

Thanks! Wishing everyone a wonderful weekend too!

Suzie it's so worth it! It dry quick and that is an added bonus! Since the sun here in MI. is scarce in November. :)

Such fun pieces and creative drying solution. I wish I could use a fireplace it's so festive to us down here in Miami. The only time we can put a fire on is when there is a polar shift.

Cute, cute, cute!!! Do you play Christmas music when you sculpt? These guys look like they're really to jump on Santa's sleigh. Have a wonderful weekend and a joyful Thanksgiving, Becca!

Looks cozy and cute! Maybe you should give them some marshmallows to roast while they're there...
